Submission Guidelines

For blog listings:

Only the best blogs get listed as Rate My Blog, anyone is welcome to submit a blog listing providing it meets the following criteria:

• We only accept established blogs with at least 10 posts and more than 4 months old. If you have just started a blog then please come back once you meet the criteria.
• No adult material, gambling, religious, hateful or offensive blogs.
• No excessive advertising.
• Content must be original - No scraped or copied content.
• Nothing that might be considered illegal.
• Blogs can be from anywhere in the world but must be written in English.
• You must be registered with a valid email address. Click here to register.

Basically, just use some common sense, this is a fun site for people to enjoy, if you think people might be upset or offended then please do not submit the blog. Please note that all content is moderated and the Rate My Blog team have the final say over publication.

Any blog can be submitted, it can be your own blog that you want to get some feedback and exposure for, or it could be a great blog that you know of and want to share with everyone at Rate My Blog.

For blog reviews:

Anyone can submit a review, and while we want everyone to share their views there are a few guidelines that should be followed:

• Justify your views - if you think "its great" - tell us why!
• If you are being critical, try to be constructive - if you think something is not very good then explain how it could be improved.
• While we will link to blogs that use some offensive language, we do not tolerate offensive language in the reviews posted at Rate My Blog.
• You are not allowed to submit a review for a listing that you submitted.
• You are only allowed one review per listing.
• You are more than welcome to invite your blog readers to submit a review of your blog.

To maintain a high level of quality, all listings and reviews are moderated before being published. We try moderate all entries within 24hrs, often we can moderate submissions within a few hours, but please be aware that at busy times it may take longer than 24hrs. We hope that you enjoy the site!
